Dr. David Roos is a board-certified pediatrician. He received his undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science in Biology, from Colorado College. Dr. Roos earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Colorado Medical School in 1979 and completed his Pediatric Internship and Residency program in Denver in 1982. He has a particular interest in diabetes, care of the premature infant and treatment of behavioral and emotional issues. Dr. Roos is also Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado.

On a Personal Note

"I love my wife, Janie, and my 3 children Becky, Amy and Zachary more than anything else in the world. Janie and I were married in 1980 and we have three great kids who have done well with school, sports, church, and their friends.

My faith in God is the basis for the love and compassion I offer as a physician. As I treat each patient the spiritual life of each person is regarded as an integral part of their physical and emotional well being.

I enjoy music and playing my Martin guitar and singing oldies or worship music with my friends and family. I love taking walks and gardening with my wife Janie and we try to go skiing each winter. We also enjoy traveling and discovering new places.

I have been an elder at Greenwood Community Church since 2000 and have seen how important faith is to the lives of children and their parents. Janie and I have taught Sunday school classes for two and three year olds for the last several years and I am excited about working with kids of all ages as they learn important life lessons."
